Data Simulation - Agent-based Modeling for Sustainable Policy Making

Under a pre-defined policy goal for green building development for a city, we use agent-based modeling (ABM) to simulate agents (e.g., the general public, developers, the government) interactions and have identified temporal and spatial variations caused by behavioral dynamics. The simulation results are integrated into the calculation of selected environmental and economic indicators on an annual basis for 20 years. Spatial dynamics on green building locations also emerge due to the different levels of public awareness.
