Thanks to the fully-open data source published by USGBC: https://www.usgbc.org/projects    We are able to download the most up-to-date data directly and use it in the R environment for data visualization.

Below is a snapshot of visualizing the data, mapping the global distribution of USGBC-certified buildings, as well as the provincial distribution of USGBC-certified buildings in China, and the time series data for user-selected countries.
